Finally, we're getting somewhere...
We've chosen to make this house fit in it's environment as a rock, that had always been there. In the side of one of the hills, not on top, as we don't want to ruin the curving lines of the Waikato landscape.

There's so much to tell when you design your own new house, but spatial design being quite visual, so, I've decided to share our mission through pictures. We found our smallblock (yes, that's how it's being called) in March 2008 and being in the middle of our very own design proces is quite exciting...
